Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Bottom line is University of Phoenix is a BUSINESS! I feel for those who no longer have jobs and it truly makes me more thankful to still have mine. On your daily grind here at your local campus they can sugar coat everything with smiles and positive team huddles but the bottomline is mula, dinero, cheddar, scrilla scratch!! The writing is on the wall and you can expect another round which will probably be more dramatic than the first. I am a "cog" like someone previously posted but either way I'm going to give my opinion because it is just so fun! What the hell is the role of an EM in project progress? They seem to be unqualified therapist if you ask me! There are no reports to run and many of these EM's are there because of their numbers. They are the ones who can't embrace ambiguity and need to put their money where their mouth is and start enrolling. Directors can soak up EM responsibility rather simply with the changes. Just saying EM's....watch out!
