Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

The unfortunate part is that it wasn't just the under performers that were laid off it was also individuals that had maxed out their salary

The unfortunate part is that it wasn't just the under performers that were laid off it was also individuals that had maxed out their salary. With the 40% drop in leads since switching to not having a matrix there is no need for the amount of people the company has. The company is to top heavy, and had to make cut so they made it where it made most sense to them. Was it ethical "no" but it is UOP and any of us that have worked their no that the company has never been ethical in it's practices, the lawsuits alone validate that statement. I was lucky enough to leave and find a better job, but my heart does go out to the people and friends of mine that lost their jobs.
