Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

As I mentioned in a previous post, the economy is getting better and the "RULE BY FEAR AND INTIMIDATION" of UOP management is already beginning to work against the company. I spoke to an employee who still works at UOP or did still work at UOP until the person handed in a resignation letter. This person agreed that what I said about the opportunities being out there exist - she had several job offers - and the person called me to let me know a letter of resignation was submitted. I attended an open house that UOP's competition had a booth and this person heard about the layoffs - and they did not see it as UOP getting rid of poor performers but a company under scrutiny that was caught behaving badly. She was not hiring - the hiring manager was not at the booth - but she encouraged me to contact the DOA regarding openings. This same week, I was asked by my former employer to come back as well as being contacted by an employer who wants to set up an interview because they feel I would be a good match for their company. FOR THOSE OF YOU WORKING IN FEAR, START LOOKING AND SUBMITTING YOUR RESUMES BECAUSE THERE IS LIFE OUTSIDE OF APOLLO/UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX AND YOU MUST HAVE THE FAITH THAT THE LORD WILL BLESS YOU WITH THAT OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT RESPECTS AND APPRECIATES YOUR TALENTS AS AN EMPLOYEE.
