Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

been working at uopx for about a year as enrollment and am beyond disgusted. all i see are mormons running around, AS MANAGERS, without degrees, who were simply promoted in the past thanks to their car salesmen personalities. yet my manager now, who btw is only 22 years old, hard core mormon, no degree, never comes to work, never submits time for all his "sick and vaca days," sleeps at his desk, goes to the gym with his friends for 2 hours a day, and tells us we basically suck during every "coaching session" if we dont get the person into school. it makes me feel horrible for enrolling half the people i have when i knew it clearly was not a good fit for them, yet my manager would say," as long as you get them through their 11 weeks its ok"! how sickening. is it sad i am waiting to just be laid off since I am still looking for something else but do not want to put fired on an application? oh and i love how i get a DM for my enrollment numbers when it is not supposed to be about numbers? god this place is sickening and if only everyone knew how UNETHICAL and how heartless these managers are, but oh no, they get started at 50,000/yr so it doesnt matter...yes, my manager tells us numerous times how much he starts out at, god only knows what the little f***er makes now for simply kissing ass and doing nothing. so sad for coportations work and what they will do for money, this is whats wrong with the world. there are hard working honest people out there making NOTHING, living paycheck to paycheck, but just because this douche bag is mormon and was once good at getting people into school but sucked at retaining them, he is living the good life?
