Overview:
Janitorial duties in a Fossil Fuel Generating Station. Represented position � L.U. 51
THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION INTO ALL COAL & YARD AND OPERATIONS POSITIONS AT BALDWIN ENERGY COMPLEX.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning restroom areas and locker rooms. Cleaning lunch and kitchen areas as well and general areas of the plant. Floor work to include sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing.
Qualifications:
- 40 Hour work week. 2.Overtime needed as required. 3.Prolonged Standing � on feet up to 7 hours per day. 4.Operating Machinery � � Scrubber, buffer and vacuum 5.Manual Labor � � mopping floors, cleaning locker rooms and general cleaning 6.Lifting up to 25 pounds 7. Climbing stairs 8. Walking 9. Safety equipment required, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, goggles, hearing and respiratory equipment. 10. Work environment: Noise, Dust, Humidity, and Extreme Temperatures. Preferences Knowledge about floor care (buffing & waxing).
