Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

One thing that is scary is that recently I had given my 2 week notice. My giving that notice, I was told my services was not needed anymore. This is a no win situation for the employee. You are giving them the courtesy of the notice, but you are let go sooner and because of that you might be out of money until you start your next position. In some other states, they have to pay you for the last 2 weeks, but here they don't. Remember, as you give your 2 weeks, let your new employer know that you might be able to start immediately.
