57 Were laid off from Southern California Campus not, 250. The layoff consisted of demotions from Director level. They were provided with options of either severance or become an EM. Finance was also reduce and various roles were changed. 3 weeks prior, training and development was also affected by the layoff. The organization from a business prospective still operates based on numbers. While enrollments can be tied to numbers, the bottom line is you can't be fired for enrollment numbers. They use layoff as a way of being fired which is a better latter approach; how wants to be fired. Doesn't look good for the next employment opportunity. Nonetheless, if enrollment doesn't pick up, you can expect to receive a notice of a layoff again. For now, looks like things are aligned with their financial forecast.
