I have read through these comments and agree. It appears that many employees have numerous years of service and then are just fired. Is this legal? When a company has had someone working for many years and suddenly they’re no longer a good employee? Is there a government agency to report these questionable business practices to or do employees just have to take it and pay the consequences? I've been with the company a little over five years and remember what a great school we used to have. During the past year almost every director position has changed. Every current director level person has been in their position for under a year. During the past year we’ve had a new President; new F.A. director, but I guess she was previously a regional; 3 separate Admission directors, a new Director of Education (who was the Director of Career Services and doesn’t seem to have clue about how to run the Education department), they put the previous the Director of Education into the role of Director of Student Services (yet a year and a half ago they laid-off the Director of Student Services stating enrollment numbers, and we have half the number of classes now than we did at that time), and our current Business Office director was previously our F.A. Director.
I don’t want to quit, I like teaching and the benefits are good, but are they just going to make up a reason a fire me too? The work environment is so stressful. I just can’t believe it’s legal for a company to do what they are doing.
Is this happening at all the campuses?
