Thread regarding Charlotte Russe Holding Inc. layoffs

While CR is doing slightly better, it is still lagging the entire industry, while not making money. Looking at the NRF comps, CR is doing worse than its competition. Whoever said we turned the corner is so off... or you just drank the kool-aid, but we have a long way to go and cannot make anymore mistakes or we will be out of business. Be weary of what senior management says, they are going to spin the story and leave out key facts, like the large amount of debt we now are saddled with and are only paying interest on because we cannot afford to pay it down. Or that while sales improved slightly, margins are at the lowest level ever. Losing an entire imports team did not help out in sourcing cheaper goods while cotton went up 10%. This company does not think strategically, even though we pay that department way too much money.
