Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I agree with the last post. I was an EA for about 3 years and moved on to greener pastures. I am thankful that I was able to earn my degree but felt the environment was very unethical, unprofessional and people were sleeping with each other from managers on up to directors. I wore tired of the environment and lip service that was preached to us by VP's on up. They only care about their six figure income and not about the people who actually bring in the income to support those six figure salaries. I am so glad to be rid of the daily stress that is the UoPhx. Not know how we are evaluated, no career path and not knowing from day to day if you will still have a job. As enrollment continues to dwindle, know there is hope and the grass is greener outside of those UoPhx walls. Hang in there and continue to network. Don't buy into the media that continues to tell you there are no jobs out there. If you perserve, it will pay off.
