The staff turn over at Heald College in Milpitas is pretty high. The adjunct faculty often give up in the first quarter. Heald pays full time instructors about $35K a year and the instructors have to check up on absent students to see if they are going to show up for class. If you lose too many students then you are laid off. Teachers have to teach 5 classes to have even the sembalance of a decent salary.
