Any person that sits in your class is there to evaluate the instructor. Administration is looking to blame the instructors for the drops, etc. They are so beyond them self that they fail to see who, and what is really to blame. The problem at least here is that unfortunately the bad instructors stay, and the good instructors get fired. Why is this? The good instructors actually care, want to teach, will not commit grade fraud and will not cow down to administration.
I understand admissions are under the gun, so they will admit anyone with a pulse, the pulse eventually ceases, the student drops, and the instructor takes the hit. I guess it is easier to blame then it is to take responsibility.
