You won't get ANY credible rumors of impending LARGE layoffs. What is going to happen is a SLOW LONG DEATH MARCH. You will see continual layoffs and terminations which will not be reported in the press. You won't have massive layoffs of hunderds or thousands but small layoffs of tens over a period of time. You are likely to see more and more Everest campuses being closed or taught out in California due to the loss of Cal Grants. The Everest campuses in Northern California are going out of business because CCI wants to save money and dump those students into Heald.
Heald campuses with the exception of Modesto which has about 250 are about 1300 students. If the Heald campuses suffer a 20% enrollment drop which is the likely outcome for the July and October Quarter then Heald will QUIETLY layoff people mostly in the admissions department. Heald won't have to layoff many faculty due to the high turnover.
