Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

We have been told repeatedly no layoffs for our department but we see all departments catching it across the country. No staff means less service. Big company going under much? Sad sight. I believe what this school offers is better than most state schools including the community college but they do simply charge too much for tuition and could have more students at a flat rate reasonable price. Greed is why they are going down. It does not cost $10k a year what the community college gives at $3-$5/year. Make it cost less and compete. They can't compete because they won't decrease their price.
