Heald is undergoing layoffs due to the fact that it is no longer eligible for Cal Grants along with the fact that almost everybody realizes that a Heald degree is worthless in the marketplace. The Northern California job market is among the most competitive in the country along with having one of the best public community college system in the United States. Heald is likely to be consolidating programs among its campuses. IT programs are pretty much done at Heald due to the fact that you need a BS degree for almost ALL IT jobs.
