CCI is not in the business of caring about anything but money. In GR the extern sites do not offer the students clinical opportunity. The students do nothing more then paper work. The sites are so poor, but then no decent site will take our students. Here they fire the good instructors, and keep the DUI’s, burger flippers, and the door knobs. Enrollment is down significantly, i.e., nights has approx 30 students, They have combined day classes, no longer have an assistant DOE, 1 chair is handling MA, MIBC, Dental, MAA, etc. (does a lousy job at that). We still have the same president (boo), and the same DOE (boo), administrative staff is constantly leaving or getting fired. They are talking about getting an IT program; really? There are plenty of actual colleges that offer IT. They do have an LPN program at 32k (you can practically get a bachelors degree for that). I believe they graduated 5 students from this program. (Most of those instructors have their BSN from University of Phoenix). Half of the students don’t complete the program, a lot are ATB students…Ah, and life is wonderful here in GR.
GR president has always painted a wonderful picture of CCI. Those of us who can read and think, and certainly know this Pres. Is full of it, get da boot. Can’t have people around who ask questions, don’t lie, and don’t have our lips permanently attached to her hind end.
