Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

The experience at GR is typical. Everest is likely to shut down their California operations in the next couple of years. It is not just CCI but the ENTIRE for profit trade school industry having problems. We have ENTIRE graduation classes from for profit schools such that no graduate can find a job.

ATB students are no longer eligible for Federal Aid as of July 1, 2012. The buzzword is "Exhausted the applicant pool". In SIlicon Valley, Everest is pretty much done and the Heald College representatives are complaining that they have "exhausted the applicant pool". Most SIlicon Valley high school graduates are heading off to the PUBLIC post secondary educational system be it CC, CSU or UC.

It looks like University of Phoenix could be banned from California Finacial aid which amounts to $20 million a year.
