More than one Heald alumni along with faculty has told CCI that perhaps the best thing to do is to shut Heald down on its 150th Anniversary in 2013.
The CCI beancounters have figured it out that Heald won't be able to make $3.5 million in lease payments and told Heald Admin that they need to improve the student yield.
One of the Heald Admins apparently bluntly told a CCI bigshot "Not going to happen. Heald is toast and the numbers are only going to get worse." The CCI bigshot apparently did not know (or at least professed not to know) that ALL Heald campuses were likely to be ineligible for California financial aid in September 2012.
The Heald Admin also said "Don't bother to ask instructors to do more work as they are close to walking out the door"
Heald is in a big mess.
