Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

The stock is run by the Dow Jones nothing else - so unfortunately that really isn't the problem. The real problem is business is down, they are re-arranging their business so that income comes from other things than enrollment so in about a year or so, employees will amount to about 1/2 what they are now...and that's not all that bad but do get rid of the idiots that are starting to sound like robots...with the SSP project - my goodness students are calling back saying is that really a person talking to me or a robot...UOP cannot mimick zappos - not for profit universities like UOP caught on a little to late. Thank you though for the degree I hope to use it somewhere else and that in and of itself is not right...but that is what we are forced to do because job opportunities just don't exist at the end of the day at UOP
