Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

There are fundamentally two schools of thought on gaining respect in post-sec education. You either believe that growth comes from a resounding reputation – one that applicants flock to because they want to be part of something respected, great or important. Or, you believe that a LARGE population is attractive and this is what draws prospective students to the organization. I live in camp one – reputation is the most important point. Trust me, I am disgusted with our reputation but we have “ourselves”, and greed to blame. Placing profits ahead of standards, morals, decency – this is where CCi went wrong…… And, it’s really, really sad…..
