Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Interesting Blog - I know someone who works at a CA campus, and has worked several for a few years. It's totally comical - this person became an employee at Everest because their own business was failing, so they entered as an instructor (no degree at all) to make money (the employee also went to a trade school). The employee then thought to get some free intern work at the failing business, guess what - the employee did not want any students due to poor skills, and well some students were untrustworthy. I heard often of the mistakes by instructors that hurt students, and also the "quick fixes" to keep the employee out of trouble and get those numbers to keep accreditation. The employee admitted - there are no gainful employment- but they still push out students. Now get this, the employee jumped to another campus due to drama (racial issues, issues with the president etc etc etc), and got a promotion (still no degree at all) Then I used to have to help the employee time to time to read work emails that dealt with work conflicts, Because - they, the employee was in over their head. So many accounts of problems that I heard of, and then the employee kept soliciting family and myself to get us to enroll a kid from family members - I would assume the employee gets some perk/bonus - ridiculous.
