Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Someone from the training department warned me before hand that the company was looking to reduce total workforce of the company by "coaching employees out". They told me exactlky how it would happen, managers will be asked to eliminate an employee or two by coming up with whatever reason neccesary (e.g. incorrect time entry into the system, std appts taking too long, imporoper SSP, etc) and there will be a 4-6 week progression to terminating that employee. What I was warned about happened exactly as i was told. What shocked us more was some of the targeted EA's did pretty solid work, so we think there may be a salary component or favoritism to it. This was at a pretty large ground campus, but I am not certain about online.
