Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

@The truth - I've given more than 100% to Heald and faculty pay can hardly be called a gravy train. In fact, among schools in this county Heald faculty pay ranks at the very bottom. A 20-hour teaching load allows for an equal amount of time for class prep but most of this time is spent grading and record-keeping. As for jumping ship? I'm being forced out. I literally cannot afford to give up a better job with better benefits for a job where I've worked my heart out for the last three years. I encountered a student yesterday in the grocery who told my spouse that I was his inspiration to come back and finish his AA. Tell me who's not pulling their weight.
