Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

we all know the day is done for UOP here in Htown. They got rid of one useless director. No more whining, no more anything. Our "new" CD said no one else is getting fired, we all know that's not true. If you are lucky enough to not need a job right now..quit. If you are still lucky enough to be able to go to work tomorrow, the least we can do is attempt to keep our jobs until we find another. We know that our CD and DOE make way to much bleeping money for what they do. I'm tired of being given a "number" to enroll and then they say there is no pressure or numbers. Call a spade a spade. The matrix is there, we are pressured to enroll at least 6-8 students a month. The SSP is a joke & I'm glad that my "merit" raise isn't coming this year but they can spend millions on that crap & middle mgmt (who have run Htown into the ground) salary. Listening to my new CD on our teleconference today was a joke. No surprises there. At this point almost hoping I get laid off. Working in the 3 campuses left are a hell.
