I work in the Sperling Center in Phoenix, and I can say that the academics/colleges side of things also got hit hard. They'll be operating on a shell of a staff. But the writing has been on the wall for awhile now as far as academic quality is concerned...UoPX is focusing all of its efforts on its new careers initiative and everything else be damned. It's slowly devolving into a vocational school that will provide a dating service for students and employers. I don't see the doctoral programs lasting much longer, but perhaps they'll stick around because offering doctoral degrees will make it seem like an actual 'university' going forward. It's a shame. Sorry to all those who've lost their jobs (I'm still waiting for my computer access to randomly be cut off), executive management has handled this very poorly.
