Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Managers are scared and EA's take the blame. Who would be motivated to do anything. There is no incentive. Career Progression? What a joke. You can do the high school tutorials and there is no guarentee that you will benefit. Most leaders from EMs up were promoted becuase they are friends of someone higher or talking heads. The matrix is still alive in some fashion. Mostly because EMs and DOEs have not sat at a desk since the matrix and only know how to follow one set of rules blindly. This BUSINESS has always focused on the wrong things so they keep the eye on the wrong ball and pay bloated salaries to useless leaders yet cut the ones who actually bring in the students. I admit there are plenty of EAs that do nothing and also other grad teams members that are either overworked or dont do anything. THey dont know who to let go becuase they dont know what to use as a measurement. Closed campuses will not help in the long run. THey need to stop having campus and online fighting each other. They are upset by closing campuses yet let online advisors ignore the fact campuses exist. You cant let one hand cut off the other and then be pissed about it. I am not blaming the online EAs they are doing what they are told to do. LEADERSHIP HAS DONE THIS TO ITSELF.
