Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Expect a major consolidation of Everest in Southern California over the next six months. CCI upper management is TIRED of dealing with the new California regulatory environment for Everest and with the ever declining enrollments is saying "Enough is enough". The possibility also exists that Heald Modesto will be taught out due to rapidly declining enrollment. The ONLY thing saving Heald Modesto at the moment is that CCI spent a LOT OF MONEY in the facility and is reluctant to write it off. Heald management fairly quickly is going to be replaced by CCI people. EVERYBODY over at CCI upper management to say the least is DISAPPOINTED with the Heald enrollment numbers. Everest in Southern California and Heald in Northern California have been BANNED by many high school districts from recruiting. The high schools are warning the students of the dangers of for profit schools along with in some cases having recent graduates of for profit schools talking to current high school students. ITT Tech announced a 15% decline in enrollment which is consistent with Devry and the University of Phoenix enrollment declines. It is only reasonable to assume that CCI will probably report on Oct. 31 a 15% decline in enrollment as well.
