I doubt race has anything to do with the company's focus on driving positive comps. We need leaders that can develop us into better leaders no matter what % of Caucasian, Indian, Asain or African Anerican. I not only agree your setting your race back with that comment but I feel like your setting our whole generation back. Do you feel you would perform better if the company was more diverse? Should that increase your conversion percentage if you didn't have to worry about your boss being white? Or would you finally be in the top three of your region and get to share on the Engagment call that the stress of the lack of diversity in the company is finally gone and now you can focus on running your sales floor and effective scheduling? You need to get your priorities straight!!
