We got hammered in 2008 - layoffs were rampant - business travel is picking up lately but I still hear rumors about reductions across the board. I know that we are constantly fine tuning performance but this time I am hearing we'll be cutting very deep - I am curious if someone else had similar info

Marriott International to acquire Elegant Hotels Group
Marriott International (MAR +0.1%) agrees to acquire Elegant Hotels Group for £110 pence per Elegant share.
The offer price implies an enterprise value for Elegant of ~$199M based on Elegant's net debt of $68.9M as at 31 March 2019.
Elegant owns and operates seven hotels with 588 rooms and a beachfront restaurant on the island of Barbados.
