Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I agree with Anonymous. Some people just don't need to go to college. If it was for everyone, there would be nothing to distinguish people. I talk to so many people that want something for nothing (a rash of people asking me if we provide a free computer or start calling for "their" excess funds after a couple days of their UNIV/100 course starting) or just aren't willing to put in the effort that I'm convinced of that. Talking to the rare student that actually takes initiative and doesn't depend on me to know that they should log in and (gasp) read their syllabus to do their assignments is such a treat that it makes me ashamed.
