Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

"Central admin" haha, that's cute. You don't even know what the department is called! Not surprising since you don't know how to do your OWN job. We do have to contact students... but only when there's something BAD going on (read: when the student is required to provide additional documentation or take some kind of action, god forbid). Admissions Intake has gone from 250+ reps to less than 60, and we have to deal with your unhelpful and demanding asses all day. Some od us DO communicate changes in policy and proceedure to our campuses, some have just given up because there is too much else to do, and because the effort isn't appreciated and the information isn't utilized. Ask anyone in our dept - the only reason we're still here is for the paycheck, and only until technology catches up and they can automate our work. We are all as sick of this place as can b, and we are definitely sick of people like you! Most of us are on the job hunt! They aren't going to hire any new blood into this dept, good luck getting your students cleared when there is no one left here for you to crab at!
