We are pleased to announce that we have signed a definitive agreement to sell the Everest College Hayward, San Jose, San Francisco and L.A. Wilshire campuses to BioHealth College, which is headquartered in San Jose, California.

BioHealth College is nationally recognized by the Department of Education and Accredited by the ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training), and it offers focused career-oriented training in biotechnology, pharmacy tech, medical assisting and business administration.

BioHealth President and CEO Sam Shirazi, Ph.D., possesses more than 25 years of experience in the vocational education industry. Mr. Shirazi launched BioHealth College in Sept. 2003, and he successfully operated the college since that time.

In the short term, the schools will continue to offer the same courses and to use the Everest College name, and it will be business as usual for employees and students while transition plans are put into place. You will be hearing more during the coming weeks as we go through the process of transitioning ownership of the campuses, and we encourage everyone to maintain the same focus on the students and their outcomes during this period of transition.

Thank you to everyone who focused on student success and kept our schools effectively operating as we searched for a quality buyer for our schools. We are pleased for our students and employees that the campuses will be able to remain open and educating students going forward.
