Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

I hear that there is yet another layoff in Madison, MS....this time, more than 33 peoplw will be let go...half of the workers have been either been offered jobs in Huntsville, AL or Greenville, TX. Funny thing, way back in Aug/Sep, there was a "get to know you" meeting held for all of the depts that would be affected, and the 1st thing this Mark guy said was to "not to worry about losing jobs" and "not to drop the ball on the work" and to "keep doing our jobs as normal". Thing is, how in the hell can a person work "normal" when there are rumors of layoffs, the company is changing its name and seperating into two entities, job titles are being changed, and half, if that, of the Army C-12 dept has moved to Ala. I'll be back to post the layoffs that are to be happening beginning 2 Jan 13.
