Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

@ unhappy current employees – Do you really think that if the people on this board quit they are going to hire new staff? You are either drunk on the kool-aid or down right stupid. Our “employer” has frightened us with measurables that cannot be defined while we constantly looking over our shoulder waiting for the axe. Our “employer” has lied to us at every turn regarding layoffs and company direction. Our “employer” has promised us career progression and then under delivered. Our “employer” is worried about saving a buck to line the pockets of its executives. Our “employer” is looking for anyway to cut the fat even cutting or frustrating loyal and satisfied employees. Our “employer” lies about judging our performance on variables that they are allowed by the government but behind closed doors evaluates us on variables they are not supposed to do legally. Our “employer” keeps us in the dark and makes irrational and illogical decisions to plan for a future they they are not sure of. I was happy to have a place to go to on Monday mornings but our “employer” has done everything it can to make that harder and harder. I like going to the resource center and watching people behind computers and in learning team rooms studying and earning an education for a better future. However, our “employer” will probably find a way to shut down the campus forcing them to give up that environment to go online and screw them out of more money. Next UoP will be no better than ITT making students take out private loans and increasing further debt in the lives of people trying to get an education the only way they can. So before you come on this board questioning and judging people by what you read here why don’t you start questioning your leaders about how bad they are ruining this company and University with greed, poor decisions, faulty management, and backhanded promises to its employees.
