It depends on Corporates response to Sue and the I.S. agents audit recommendations. This first step is an "Oh ****, we better DO something!" response to Corporate scrutiny. So they mass fire 4%. That way they can say "We ARE taking care of business!" Corporate will have more numbers crunched based on today's end results and then ask for anywhere from 6-16% more savings... if they can get that without reducing 16% of the employees, fine. But since the DOD budget continues to shrink, I think so will the employee base. Layoffs start small and get bigger, simply because of the shock factor, kind of like a diet is better to start little by little. Once WallStreet is adjusted to the fact L3 is downsizing CSW and Camden etc.. the stock should go UP as investor faith is strengthened.. once it begins going up again then some more layoffs, they will try to time that right before each quarters financial reports. The short answer: a few weeks, probably before the Encompass blackout.
