Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

@ Round 2: You can get a lawyer. It appears they weaned out some of the more experienced (older) people. But they left some of the OLDEST! So, it's a toss up. Depends on the judge, jury, arguments, time, who knows. Did they give you a decent severance deal? Enough for a few months? If not, go for it. If so, weigh your odds... I bet the older you were the fatter the severance, and this we don't know, but in court they will whip that statistical page out to PROVE that they took "special care for the older employees". It's a dice game..... if you have numbers then you have better odds, but nesting all that together likely violates the Exhibit A terms, so if you attempt a challenge you automatically lose potential money. They set it up this way, so you have to make a decision: is it WORTH it? It may be just thinking that they did this on purpose, but in the end you may come out like 10 times poorer or 10 times richer. Best of luck.
