@Round 2: Yes, HR rep says you CAN consult a lawyer. The implication was that if you do challenge, and lose, you could lose your offered severance. You would need a REALLY good lawyer, and it would have to be obvious. You have 45 days from today to do that and then you either need to sign the paper and get severance or its gone. Consult a lawyer, be warned though, don't dilly-dally on it as CSW-L3Corp has really good lawyers, they specialize in this. Now, if you get a lawyer and actually suggest a possible challenge, they may bring out "severance package #2" for you, probably double I have no idea, to keep you quiet. But yeah, they would probably offer more money.. don't screw yourself out of the base package, though. Check with a lawyer and be sure it takes less than the revocation period. Good luck!
