@missing: Nothing that I am aware of. I suspect the first round (March 22) where they let 51 employees go were the select ones, those high-paying low-reward or overpaid employees (you work hard but made way too much money for the benefit of company). Round 2 where they let 190 employees were supposed low performers or they stirred up trouble for the managers, or were moved around so much from job to job to hunt charge codes they were extras. Corporate needs at least another 110 by before Encompass go live, and that may not be the end of it. Right now, HR, Sue, exec, and finance are all trying to smudge the numbers just right on paper to show that CSW is going to recover and not impact investments as much for LLC stock, if they don't do that then another few hundred will be gone by summer. That's just the way companies like this operate, feast and famine, unless it screws up major revenue sources or incurrs huge debt ratio, then you have layoffs until better times. FYI, I have Exhibit B and yes my age and position and level are right on there. Maybe yours was last minute or HR had incomplete or erroneous data for you in your file, either way your manager suggested your name or position along with others', and you got picked by HR.
