There absolutely was a "lay off" in march. you call it what you want but anyone who knows how to query information from the company database can look up names of all terminated employees and the dates of termination. I looked it up today and March 14th there were 54 people terminated. I know some of those people were the ones who accepted early retirement, but of those 54, many were not part of the early retirement group.
Look it up yourselves in SQL, SELECT a query in the Enterprise.dbo.TerminatedEmployees database, its all there. I agree that much of the stuff posted on this site is false and there are a lot of people who post crap simply to vent (rightfully so), but in this site's defense, what the majority of the posts were saying last Wednesday night was absolutely true, even down to the time of day that the layoffs were going to take place. So though i recognize that many of the posts are crap, this site has proven to be a pretty good venue for information.
I don't smell management in Anon, but i do smell ignorance.
