Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

If the student owes money to the school they can hold diplomas and transcripts until the balance is paid. This not just something that is exculsive to cci schools. ALL SCHOOLS do this! Is it right...no, but if the student wants their degree or transcript bad enough they will pay!!! I will repeat ALL SCHOOLS hold degrees or transcripts if a student is not in good standing when they leave. Having worked for both state and for profit schools this is a universal tactic, why because it works. Jim get your account in good standing and they will have to release your degree and transcript. This will be your only real recourse as you signed an enrollment agreement and they will cite this.
