Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Yes I have read a number of posts here about instructors changing grades or being forced to change grades. 1. Since the instructor is the authority in classroom if they believe that a grade should be changed due to an error then that is their right. 2. The only time I have seen grade changes forced is when an instructor screwed up on grading and refused to correct their mistakes. But trust me, grade changes are tracked and they have to be approved by the DAA once an initial grade has been posted. If your campus has a good DAA then they will look into the grade change to make sure it is valid, if not then I guess you are at one of those locations where grades are being changed to push students through.
