Apollo Group Inc. – the parent company of University of Phoenix – has laid off 24 Arizona workers so far this month as part of an ongoing and previously announced 1,000-person layoff happening across the private education company.
Apollo spokesman Ryan Rauzon confirmed layoffs and job cuts occurred this week. He declined to disclose specifics beyond what occurred in the Phoenix area. (Guess the real IT Guy was right after all)
