Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

We need to make sure that all these valid factual concerns and comments based on truth gets told to those who matter- STUDENTS/POTENTIALS. My new employee said today and I quote "I would never hire anyone from Everest, those schools are just sales offices, no real education or degree". I would think due to face book, twitter, etc. that the warnings should by now be reaching many who might be discourage about for profit due to negative press and focus on Community schools. Perhaps that is why enrollment is falling and people are getting smarter about these money generated schools and their long term financial affects (not to mention little or no help in placement). I know we use to get many sales calls going to current students- between those calls and following them in school to collect on their monthly Genesis loans they were always being hunted down. Not even sure if in-house loan facilitations are legal- so many didn't even realize they could go elsewhere for a loan but reps would tell them due to finances and/or credit it would be hard for them and totally discouraged making an effort so they would sign up then. It's all WRONG.
