As a very long term employee, and after reading many of the comments below, I have my own perpective on why the company is in money trouble now.
We went from no middle management in the late 90's and 2000's to promoting over 400 to management positions. If you check teiring you will see that most "managers" have on average 7 empolyees. The departments with the most non direct managers and supervisors who are all overhead is Devlin Allens group. The second group falls under Clayton Wahlquist. And putting up all these newly promoted to management into high wall for private offices is very expensive. And what is up with 3 new buildings in just the last year to this year? I wish I could do some house cleaning and demoting for one day...then we would be very profitable! I seem to know most the dirty little secrets on who works and who does not work. And speaking of a waste of money since I am now into venting mood is this Cadre Porgram with a director only in charge of that and no employees reporting to him and he must be making 200K a year? And he is already retired from the Military with a great pension that we are already paying for. Ok I am done venting. Glad someone told me of this site. I just wish the garbage would not post here.
