Former consultant for chk laid off in June, walked right over and now work at different company, as oil prices are doing well of course. No severance etc, but didn't expect one either since not a chk employee. If worries send the resume out and prepare to relocate if needed. Work is great in midland, tx right now, best of luck and keep your heads up if you stay or go
