@ The Insider - I'm not sure which "lies" you are referring to which justifued outsourcing PCB fab to Logan and Oaklahoma, but if this refers to the program I think it does, CSW's costs to do the job internally were simply not competitive and would have sunk the viability of the contract. That is the sad and unfortunate truth of CSW's situation. Their cost of doing business is so high that they are no longer competitive in the market. That won't get fixed by just reducing the workforce. It will take a radical change away from bring an engineering services shop to a efficient designer and manufacturer of goods and services which are affordable to a much larger segment of the market. The fact is that CSW paid no attention to the cost of their products for years and now that has caught up with them. Add to that the overwhelming cost of rework - sometimes several times - before being able to ship and you have a recipe for disaster. Throw in encompass and you have a perfect storm. It's not just management, its everyone who didn't care about product cost and quality to really do something about it.
