Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

In all honesty, the transparency and communication with the reorganization has been lacking. Not to mention, this whole ordeal has been drawn out for such a long time now and the staff are getting drained by the drama. Some of us have been able to piece together an idea of what is coming via managers. However, RDL is less than forthcoming with the plans and actions that are happening. Early next week (Tuesday) the managers that report to the BU VPs should know their fate. Those people were cussed and discussed this week by the BU VPs and horse-traded, with new people sprinkled into new teams. The managers that are picked next week will give us an idea of what kind of organization we will have when it is all said and done. This next round of chosen individuals will also provide us an idea of what the new company structure looks like. One step closer but still some time before the little people know their position.
