Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

@3:48. I'm sure you're right in general, but the offers that myself and the other engineering grads got were pretty similar salary wise across the board. I'm not as familiar with some of the 401k/retirement plans that my other buddies got but my starting salary was identical to a couple of my friends who took jobs with COP and XOM, and my collection of sign on bonuses was much better than theirs. I also accepted my offer back when spending wasn't being reigned in, so it's obviously different for this years class. I agree that I'll be able to make more other places after a couple years though, so I appreciate your insight on that
