Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Hey Profess: Nothing personal if we don't want to shake your hands. The corporate training video advises us that the best way to release someone is the fastest way, so at the end we will step away from the desk while you deal directly with the HR representative. We have heard the stories of disgruntled ex-employees going to "shake my hand" and then they either get "psyched" like from 3'rd grade, lol at that one, or maybe a genuine shake, rarely one gets a bone-crusher and perhaps assaulted. We also don't want "stink-fist". Some of us never really wanted you anyway so that's another good reason, my favorite. You have to have a blank mind and a cold heart to be a good manager, you know this, it comes with the job. An old (insider secret) motto for a good manager "It's not about how you manage people, it's how you HANDLE people". We are slaves like the rest of you, yeah we make 4 times as much money and have leather chairs and can bend the rules as we see them. That's the perks of having to deal with swine workers from time to time, else NO one would want to do it. Did you see how fast Obama's hair has turned white over the years since he became Pres? Same with any president, CEO or manager... it's stressfull, you can't make EVERYONE happy and you have to break a few eggs to have a diamond omelet. Good luck out there, we're going to miss you!
