From Yahoo CHK Message board: "update from inside CHK, 500 jobs this month and 1000 jobs to be cut next month. all these jobs are mostly PR ,HR, land and fluff jobs to promote CHK in the lime light. About time they start trimming the fat, they don't sell to the public so all this PR stuff never made since to me anyway. bottom line- great thing for the business, they need to start focusing on what they are supposed to do anyway and that is drilling for oil and ng and start putting money back into the co. and stockholders. "
